Dust, bird droppings and sap
Each one needs a different approach:
- Dust and grime: a careful pre-rinse and hand wash so grit is not dragged across the paint.
- Bird droppings: softened first, then lifted, never scrubbed dry.
- Tree sap from oaks and pines: worked gently; hardened sap may need extra time.
- Pollen in spring: rinsed from seals, wipers and the cowl.
- Water spots from sprinklers or rain: cleaned off the glass and paint where they lift.
Inside the car after it sat
A closed car in the sun can feel stale when you return, and anything left inside, like food wrappers or a half-full water bottle, does not improve. We remove trash, vacuum, wipe the hard surfaces and clean the glass, which often has a film from heat.
Mats and carpets can also pick up dust from open windows or a sunroof left cracked. We do not offer odor treatment or ozone. Cleaning out the source usually helps a lot, and we will tell you honestly if something remains.
Which package fits
For a car that sat a couple of weeks, the Full Detail is usually enough. After a longer trip or a car parked under trees, the Complete Detail adds spot buffing on light marks, such as faint dropping marks, where the paint allows. Etching from droppings that sat too long may be permanent; we will tell you what to expect. Heavy sap and grime may need Elite Restoration with paint decontamination, quoted after photos.
