Our standards

How we treat your car.

These are the steps we actually follow on every job. Each one comes from our Terms of Service, so you can hold us to it. No badges, no made-up certifications: just what we do.

01

Walk-around and photos first

Before we start, we walk around the car and the work area and photograph their condition, including existing scratches, chips, curb rash, stains and wear. Walk around with us, or check the before photos we text you, and point out anything we missed.

If the car is in a very different condition from what was described (heavy pet hair, sand, mold), we tell you before we start and you choose: approve a new price, keep the original work, or cancel with no fee.

02

The right product for each surface

  • Commercial vehicle-care products, used the way their makers direct.
  • Screens and touch controls: a dry or lightly damp microfiber, never a spray.
  • Leather and delicate materials: we test on a hidden spot first.
  • Gloss black and soft-touch trim: cleaned gently, because they scratch easily.
  • Tinted glass: ammonia-free cleaner.
  • Fragrance-free products on request.
03

EVs and hybrids

Hand clean only. We never touch or spray high-voltage parts (orange cables and connectors), charge ports or battery areas. Screens and glass roofs get screen-safe products, and the front trunk is cleaned like the interior.

Please unplug before we arrive. We do not unplug a charging vehicle.

04

Wash water and sun

We keep wash water out of streets, gutters and storm drains, and use rinseless or waterless methods where we can. Inside a garage we use waterless or rinseless methods only.

Hot panels and direct sun dry products too fast, so we may work in sections, ask to use shade, or reschedule.

We always need an outlet near the car. We only need a water tap for some jobs, and we tell you when we confirm.

05

Keys, personal items and your property

  • We never drive your car and never take your keys off your property.
  • If you give us a key, we lock the car when we finish unless you tell us not to.
  • Loose items we move go in a bag left in the car. We only throw away obvious food and drink waste.
  • We turn off lights and close doors when we finish. If the battery runs down because we left something on, we jump-start it at no charge.
  • You do not have to be home, as long as we can reach the car, outlet and any water we need.
06

Final check, then you pay

When we finish, we walk around the car with you, or text you photos if you are not home. You pay after you have seen it (card, Zelle, Venmo or cash). No card is needed to request.

If something we cleaned isn't right, text us within 48 hours and we come back to fix it at no charge. Refunds and the 48-hour fix

07

Photos and your privacy

  • Job photos show the car and the work area, never the inside of your home.
  • We crop or blur license plates and house numbers before posting anything.
  • We never post a photo that shows a person without that person's written permission.
  • Don't want your car posted? Tick the box on the request form or text us any time. If something was posted, we remove it, normally within 2 business days.

Details: Terms, Section 13 and the Privacy Policy.

08

Premium and performance cars

We have worked on cars like the BMW M5, Range Rover Sport and Tesla Model Y in our gallery. We don't claim expertise in every exotic model. What we do on every car:

  • Tell us about repaint, wraps, film, coatings, matte paint or delicate interiors before we start, and we plan around them or skip that area.
  • We never machine polish matte or satin paint, wraps or paint protection film.
  • Spot buffing is only on small areas you approve, and we may decline an area if the paint looks thin or repaired.
09

When you need a different specialist

Detailing is cosmetic cleaning. We don't offer these, so if you need one, a specialist shop is the right call:

  • Full paint correction (whole-panel, multi-step polishing)
  • Ceramic coating, paint protection film, window tint or wraps
  • Headlight restoration
  • Ozone or odor treatment, and biohazard, mold or pest cleanup
  • Mechanical, electrical, body, glass or paint repair

We can't promise every stain, scratch or water spot will come out. If something can't be fully removed, we tell you.

Two techniques, on video.

These two short clips are stock footage (Pexels), not NOVA jobs. They show the techniques in a studio. Our own work is in the gallery.
