Our mobile car wash in San Carlos is the Exterior Detail: a careful hand wash, wheels and tires cleaned, tire dressing and outside glass. A tunnel wash is quick, but spinning brushes do not reach every corner, and they often miss the lower panels where road grime from 101 builds up.

By hand, we can slow down on the spots that matter, like the brake dust on the wheel faces and the film that collects on the windshield.

We also wipe the door jamb edges you see when you open a door, so the first thing you notice after the wash is not a line of dirt.

Hills, driveways and what we need on site

West of the Alameda, in areas like Devonshire and Brittan Heights, many driveways are steep. We need a reasonably level spot with room to walk around the car. If the driveway is too steep, a flatter spot nearby or the garage works better. We never move the car, so please park it there before we arrive.

We always need a standard outlet near the car. A water tap is needed only for some jobs, and we tell you when we confirm. Wash water is kept out of storm drains.

Local grime worth washing off sooner

Cars parked under the oaks on the hillside streets often collect sap and bird droppings, and both are easier to remove while they are fresh. Left in the sun, they can etch the clear coat, and etching may not fully come out. Winter rain also leaves a gritty film along the rocker panels that is worth clearing before it dries in place.
