Car detailing when moving can happen at either end. Before the move, a clean car is easier to load and you start the new place without old clutter. After the move, a detail clears the dust, cardboard bits and scuffs from hauling boxes. Either way, it is one job you can hand off during a busy few weeks. Our mobile team comes to your old home or your new one, as long as you are anywhere we serve on the Peninsula.

Cargo areas and seats after hauling
Moving loads leave a specific kind of mess. We vacuum and wipe it all by hand:
- Cargo floors full of cardboard bits, tape and packing peanuts.
- Scuffs on trim panels and seat backs from boxes and furniture.
- Fine dust from garages and storage units on every surface.
- Plant soil and leaves from carrying houseplants.
- Crumbs from a week of eating in the car.
Garage clean outs and dusty cars
A garage clean out kicks up a lot of dust, and a car parked nearby collects it. Clearing a garage can also uncover a car that has not moved in months. We hand wash, clean wheels and glass, and tell you if the paint has spots, sap or droppings that need more than a wash.
If the car is in the garage and you want it detailed there, we use waterless or rinseless methods only. An ordinary wall outlet near the car is a must. Please clear a walkway around it.
Which package fits a move
The Full Detail covers most moves: a thorough interior and a hand wash outside. A car that sat in storage, or carried a lot of dirty loads, may need Elite Restoration, quoted after photos.
