What it is

Spot buffing means machine polishing of small areas you approve, such as a light scuff or a patch of light swirls. It is included in Complete Detail and Elite Restoration, and available as an add-on.
It is not paint correction. We do not polish whole panels or the whole car. Polishing removes a very thin layer of clear coat, so we only do it where it makes sense and you have said yes.

Price and timing
Price and timing.
The price depends on the package, the size of the vehicle and its condition. We text you the exact price before anything is booked, and the price in your written confirmation is the price you pay. Larger vehicles (SUVs, trucks and vans) take more time and product, so size is part of the quote.
Timing: we confirm timing by text. We do not publish job lengths because they depend on the car and its condition. Requests start from tomorrow; there is no same-day booking.
What we need
What we need from you.
- An electrical outlet near the car, always.
- A water tap only for some jobs. We tell you when we confirm; if we do not ask, you do not need one.
- The car parked in a safe, legal, reasonably level spot with room to walk all the way around it.
- The car unlocked or the keys available. You do not have to be home, and we never drive your car.

Will it remove my scratch?
If it is a light mark in the clear coat, often it improves a lot. If you can catch it with a fingernail, it is probably too deep to polish out. We tell you honestly at the walkaround, and we may decline to polish an area.
Is it safe on repainted paint?
Repainted, touched-up, thin or single-stage paint can wear through even with care. Please tell us before you approve polishing if an area has been repainted, touched up or polished before.
Results depend on the age, condition and materials of the car. If something cannot be fully removed, we tell you.
