Stains
Results depend on what the stain is, how long it has been there and the material. Fresh coffee on cloth often lifts well with hot-water extraction. Ink, dye transfer, bleach spots and burns may be permanent. Leather and delicate materials are tested on a hidden spot first.
If something can't be fully removed, we tell you. Heavy stain spot removal is part of Elite Restoration.
Odors
Cleaning removes the dirt that causes many smells, so it can reduce odors a lot. It can't guarantee removal: smoke, pet and mildew smells can come back with heat or humidity, especially if the source is inside the seat foam or vents. We don't offer ozone or odor treatments, and for safety we may decline cars with mold or biohazards.
Scratches, swirls and marks
Dirt hides scratches, so some marks are easier to see after cleaning. Spot buffing (machine polishing of small areas you approve) can reduce light marks. It is not full paint correction: we don't polish whole panels, and we may decline to polish repainted, thin or single-stage paint, and never polish matte or satin paint, wraps or paint protection film.
Things that need a different specialist
- Dents, deep scratches, chips and curb rash: a body shop or wheel repair shop.
- Full paint correction, ceramic coating, paint protection film, tint or wraps: a shop that specializes in them.
- Hazy headlights: a headlight restoration specialist; we don't offer it.
- Torn, burned or cracked upholstery and sagging headliners: an auto upholstery shop.
- Mold, biohazards, rodents or insects: a remediation service.
Reading before-and-after photos honestly
Lighting, angle and moisture change how a car looks. Wet paint looks darker and glossier, low sun shows every swirl, and a phone camera evens out a lot. Foam shots show the process, not the result.
