What it is

An engine bay detail cleans the dust, leaves and grime that collect under the hood. It is included in Complete Detail and available as an add-on to our other packages.
It is cosmetic. It does not fix leaks, and it is not a mechanical inspection.

- Air intake and exposed electrical parts covered first
- Low-pressure water, steam or wipe-down
- We do not start your engine
- On EVs and hybrids: a wipe-down of the front trunk and visible plastic covers only; high-voltage parts, charge ports and battery areas are never touched or sprayed

- Mechanical work, leak repair or diagnosis
- Degreasing of a hot engine
- Opening or cleaning inside electrical components

Price and timing
Price and timing.
The price depends on the package, the size of the vehicle and its condition. We text you the exact price before anything is booked, and the price in your written confirmation is the price you pay. Larger vehicles (SUVs, trucks and vans) take more time and product, so size is part of the quote.
Timing: we confirm timing by text. We do not publish job lengths because they depend on the car and its condition. Requests start from tomorrow; there is no same-day booking.
What we need
What we need from you.
- An electrical outlet near the car, always.
- A water tap only for some jobs. We tell you when we confirm; if we do not ask, you do not need one.
- The car parked in a safe, legal, reasonably level spot with room to walk all the way around it.
- The car unlocked or the keys available. You do not have to be home, and we never drive your car.

Is there any risk?
Small but real, and we would rather tell you. Even with care, moisture can briefly cause a warning light, rough start or no-start, mostly on older vehicles or ones with worn seals or wiring; this usually clears as parts dry. Please start the car within 24 hours and tell us right away about any problem. Engine bay cleaning is optional; our Terms of Service (Section 2A.1) explain how this is handled.
Can I add it to a Full Detail?
Yes. Ask when you request. We text you the exact price first. Or choose Complete Detail, which includes it plus spot buffing.
Results depend on the age, condition and materials of the car. If something cannot be fully removed, we tell you.
