Why it is so hard to remove
Short, stiff hairs work their way into carpet and cloth fibers, and static holds them there. A regular vacuum lifts the loose hair on top but often leaves the woven-in layer behind.
What helps at home
- A rubber glove or rubber brush dragged across carpet and cloth pulls woven hair into clumps you can vacuum.
- A vacuum with a stiff brush attachment, working in short strokes.
- A lint roller for seat surfaces and headrests.
- A washable seat cover, hammock or cargo liner, and an old blanket for the back.
- Brushing the dog before car trips, outside.
How we handle pet hair
Light pet hair is part of a normal Interior Detail. Heavy hair, the kind that covers the carpet and cargo area, takes much longer, so it is quoted per car: as Pet Hair Rescue, or as part of Elite Restoration with the other deep work.
Tell us honestly how much hair there is when you request. If the car turns out to be very different when we arrive, we tell you before we start, and you can approve a new price, keep the original work, or cancel with no fee.
Pet smells
Cleaning can reduce pet odors, but we can't guarantee removal, and smells can come back with heat or humidity. We don't offer ozone or odor treatments. Fragrance-free products are available on request.
On the day
Please keep pets secured away from the work area for the whole visit, and tell us about allergies or pets who ride in the car so we choose products accordingly.
